To be honest, I'm not sure why countries like Denmark have people mining at all. It's one of the most expensive countries for electricity and a lot of the fees you'd pay in electricity would already exceed how much you can make off running the miners (not even factoring equipment fees).

Bitcoin mining actually utilizes a lot of renewable energy sources and doesn't come close to what businesses in China use, and it isn't a factor that needs to be focused on - take down the main factors, and then bother about this tiny % of CO2 emissions
